Jeffrey W. McClure, CFP®
M.S. Personal Financial Planning
Jeff was born in Oklahoma, graduated from Oklahoma Military Academy with a major in Military Science, from Ottawa University with a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado with a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. He qualified for and was granted the license to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and CFP® marks in 1994 and has continued to meet the continuing education and other requirements to retain that license in the ensuing years.
Jeff served as an Army officer, qualifying in Armor, Armored Cavalry, Combat Aviation, and Military Intelligence, before resigning his commission in 1982 to become a stockbroker. In 1991 he was promoted to branch manager for a regional brokerage firm and went on to be one of the most productive brokers and managers in that firm's history.
In 2007, Jeff and Jake made the decision to establish an independent investment advisory and management firm to provide unbiased, fee-based fiduciary advice and investment management to their clients. The Personal Wealth Coach® has been registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission since that time and serves clientele scattered across the United States. Jeff currently serves as the President and Chief Investment Officer of the firm.
Jeff has been married to Vicki Joy, a board-certified, hospital chaplain, since 1971. They have five happy, successful, adult offspring whom they count as their best friends, and who have provided them (to date) with nine grandchildren. He enjoys the endless search for the best investment options, spending time with his family, creating images of deep space objects, serving as a member of his church’s governing board, and being a member of the Salado Planning and Zoning Commission.
